Who we are

We started Blue Screen because great events shouldn’t require a huge crew or complicated setup. Our 5m x 3m trailer-mounted LED screen with sound is designed to arrive, park, and deploy quickly, so you don’t have to worry about major setup costs and logistics. We position the trailer, raise the screen using the hydraulic system, and connect your device.

Blue Screen is ideal for community events, sports viewing, movie nights, festivals, prize givings, presentations, sponsor messaging, and public events where you want big-screen impact with straightforward logistics.

You can hire the screen and run content yourself, or if you want hands-off playback and audio support, our on-site operators can assist during the event. We provide the screen and sound, and we can plug into a wider AV setup if needed.

If your event needs full production support, we can work with your existing suppliers or help coordinate trusted AV partners.

Come rain or shine, we’re set up for South Island conditions. Our screen also has smart weather detection and will lower and close in unsafe wind conditions. And for out-of-town events or sites without reliable power, generator hire is available.

We’re Christchurch-based and travel throughout the South Island.
